Direct: 305-704-3346Grissel Seijo has experience litigating and counseling on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including claims of discrimination, family medical leave actions, military leave, wrongful terminations, wage and hour disputes, non-compete agreements, and equal employment opportunity laws. She has also represented management exclusively in labor disputes, and collective bargaining actions, including elections and strikes. She advises employers on personnel decisions and policies, and has drafted employee handbooks for small and large business clients. Grissel has facilitated various “how to avoid” training sessions, most recently “Labor Law for the Employment Lawyer: Watch Out for the NLRB in the Non-Union Context” in 2009.

- Southside United Housing Development Fund Corp – Second chair company-wide collection bargaining agreement negotiations and labor strike
- Utilities – Assisted in settlement of class actions wage and hour law suits
- Small and large businesses – Drafted employment handbooks
- Successfully settled wage and hour claim on behalf of client.
- Successfully defended employer on a permanent disability claim in turn reversing compensation from the insurance companies involved.
