Michael.Mikiciuk@InfanteZumpano.com
Direct line: (305) 539-3818Whether its advocating for clients or completing an Ironman Triathlon, Mike Mikiciuk is a lawyer who goes the distance. A rising young litigator, our clients and trial teams rely on Mike’s determination and persistence to get the job done.
As a member of our Litigation Department and its Catastrophic Injury and Insurance Defense Practice Groups, Mike has represented our clients in both prosecuting and defending first-party and third-party insurance disputes involving policy claims for damage to real property – arising from natural catastrophes like hurricanes, or from a premises owner’s negligence – or under automobile insurance contracts for damages and injuries caused in accidents. He was part of the firm’s trial team that successfully prosecuted the damage claims of a client who was attacked and injured at a well-known Miami entertainment venue, resulting in a $1 million verdict. Mike also represents our clients on more general commercial matters, and has developed significant expertise in the area of transportation law, most notably issues dealing with cargo claims for items that were lost or stolen during voyages both on land and sea.
When not advocating for clients, Mike is a passionate endurance athlete who regularly participates in marathons, successfully completed the Ironman Panama City, and is now training for the Ironman Madison. His goal is to qualify for Hawaii’s famous Kona Ironman. His athletic efforts have led him to a volunteer role with LIVESTRONG®, focusing on its efforts to increase community awareness of the group’s cancer survivor support services.
Mike was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2006, and is a graduate of California Western School of Law in San Diego, California in 2006. He is also one of the proud “Fighting Irish” and is a University of Notre Dame in 2002 alum with a B.B.A. in Finance. He also studied in Madrid, Spain with Syracuse University and is highly proficient in Spanish.
And by the way, his last name is pronounced mi-KI-chick.
