Noelia E. Moreno, of counsel to Infante Zumpano, brings her leadership and keen business acumen to serve as a legal advisor and advocate to her clients. Her unique ability to see the big picture while grasping the nuances of business and family business relations are why decision makers and business leaders turn to Noelia for solutions.
She is a graduate of the University of Miami, School of Business Administration with a Bachelor’s in International Finance and Marketing in 1986, University of Miami School of Law in December1988 and admitted to practice in Florida in 1989. Noelia worked as an attorney representing financial institutions in real estate transactions, mortgage foreclosures and bankruptcies until 1993. She then served as Vice President and General Counsel to her family’s business of which she was a co-owner until 2010 when the company retired its operations.
Noelia understands the demands placed upon businesses when dealing with the myriad of governmental regulations, risk management, contract negotiations, asset protection and commercial insurance all while managing costs in engaging legal professionals to provide representation in these varying aspects. Noelia helped to successfully grow the family manufacturing enterprise to over 170 employees and the company was considered one of the top three in their industry in the State of Florida. In addition she was responsible for overseeing contracts to supply some of the nation’s and region’s top developers and builders while successfully transitioning part of the business to distribution for some of the nation’s top suppliers. Upon the decision to retire, Noelia was responsible for overseeing and managing payment in full of all banking relationships and suppliers while fulfilling all contractual obligations. Ultimately, she was successful in preserving the family’s assets and equity as well as maintaining the integrity of the enterprise’s hard earned reputation in its industry.
Noelia is the first woman to hold the office of President in the 40 year history of the prestigious Latin Builders Association, the largest Hispanic construction association. With her steadfast and calm demeanor, she has led the LBA successfully through its most tumultuous times.
In addition, her experience as a certified business and life coach gives her unique insight when working with clients in an advisory capacity in formulating succession, growth or retirement strategies.
